I have been participating in Angel Food Ministries since October 2008 and just love it!! Our refrigerators and freezers were already FULL of great food in the 2nd month! We have saved $100s on our grocery bills in these short months!! To 'pay it back' for this wonderful opportunity, my husband and I volunteer each month to help pack food boxes for our community at Cambridge House (our distribution center for AFM) in Newnan.

Started by two married pastors in Good Hope, GA 14 years ago, they wanted to help their congregation, neighbors, friends and families who were in hard times. They have eliminated the 'middle man' and get fresh meats, produce and other grocery items directly from the farms, companies and food suppliers.

They only accept cash or Food Stamps for your monthly order which you have to submit and pay for in person, everyone qualifies and you receive your order the following Saturday after ordering (you need to bring a box and pick your orders up).
